Very different from traditional rust conversion or rust encapsulation products, Rust Inhibitor - Rust Bullet’s Patented Technologies are the most effective and efficient method available today, to prevent the corrosion of metals.


Rust Bullet products (heat resistant paint, fire resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) protect solid surfaces from oxidation, chemical attack, high temperature and low temperature. 

A cured Rust Bullet coating (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) provides protection from steel rust, iron rust, metal rust and metals corrosion, and is more effective, an easier application and less costly than epoxy coatings and other corrosion control products.

 

Most rust paints use old technologies to stop rust such as rust conversion with rust inhibiting chemicals added that simply do not work. Rust Inhibitor - Rust Bullet’s superior technology should not be confused with rust converters, rust paints or other exterior paints.

 

Rust Inhibitor - Rust Bullet’s distinctive formulation allows the first coat to penetrate the rusted areas dehydrating the rust, causing it to become a compact solid again, which intertwines itself in the resin matrix becoming a permanent part of the coating.

 

The second and subsequent coats of Rust Inhibitor - Rust Bullet (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) create an impermeable surface.

 

Unlike other steel coatings or metal coatings, Rust Bullet is a single component coating, which means there is no need for activators or a catalyst.

When welding works is done on fully cured Rust Bullet surface, (i.e. 72 hours after application of Rust Bullet), the Rust Bullet coating (fire resistant coating, heat resistant coating, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) will not be burnt / damaged by the welding works, as shown in attached photos.

b) After soot is cleaned off, it is evident that Rust Bullet coating has not been damaged.

The photo was taken on a tug boat. After application of Rust Bullet (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating), boat registration number was welded on the coated surface. The Rust Bullet surface was intact and not damaged by welding works.


Rust Bullet (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) can be applied on clean & dry surface with temperature ranges from 2 deg C to 43 deg C.


Fully cured Rust Bullet (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) coating can also withstand permanent high temperature up to 157 deg C continuously and up to 329 deg C for a period less than 72 hours.


Rust Bullet (fire resistant paint, heat resistant paint, low temperature paint, fire retardant coating) coated surface can also withstand low temperature of upto – 28 deg C without damaged.


Rust Bullet’s patented rust paint performs like a powder coating but without the expense involved with the powder coating process.

Caution : wash your painting tools with toulene or acetone before Rust Bullet dries; after Rust Bullet dries up, no chemical can remove the dried coating easily !!
